Jackson just came out of his room after being tucked in for the night. I asked what was wrong (as I hid plastic eggs and fillings behind my back). He was very concerned that Kitty Kitty (yes... that is her name) would attack the Easter Bunny. Can we make sure that Kitty is outside tonight? Oh! But what if the Easter Bunny comes in from the outside and she gets him??
Don't worry, Jackson, we reassured him. The Easter Bunny is tough. The kitty won't hurt the Easter Bunny. We promise.
I sure do love that kid!

OMgoodness, Reagan and I almost had that very same conversation last night, she wasn't only worried that the cats and dog would attack the Easter Bunny but also that he would go into her room, the idea of the Easter Bunny or Santa going into her room while she is sleeping totally freaks her out, so before she settled down for the night I had to write a letter telling the E.B to please leave the baskets downstairs and to please not go upstairs and then promised her that the cats and dog would get to sleep in my room last night.
I think when it finally becomes the Tooth Fairy's time to visit I'll have to make a pillow to hang outside her door.
